A former Playboy Playmate named Stephanie Adams jumped to her death off of a Manhattan building early this morning with her 7-year-old son.
Adams, who was 47 years old and Playboy’s Miss November 1992, jumped from The Gotham Hotel around 8:30 a.m. She and her son were staying on the 25th-floor penthouse and their bodies were found on the second-floor balcony.
According to the New York Post, Adams was involved in a ongoing, nasty domestic dispute with her estranged husband over the custody of their son.
“Early this morning investigators located an individual whose attention was drawn to that same second-floor area when he heard two loud noises,” said William Aubrey, NYPD’s Chief of Manhattan Detectives. “His attention was drawn to that and he discovered these two deceased individuals.”
A police investigation is currently underway.
