Ohio Man Calls Cops For Help After Pig Follows Him Home.

According to the Daily Mail, “A sober Ohio man called the police to report that a pig was following him home from the train station.

Ohio’s North Ridgeville Police Department revealed in a Facebook post early Saturday morning that it had received a bizarre call for help from a man who said that a pig was following him and he didn’t know what to do about it.

The night shift’s automatic response, according to the Facebook post? ‘A pig. Riiiight.’

As it was 5.26am when the call came in and the man had claimed he was walking home from a bar, the officers assumed the man was drunk as a skunk.

Still, ‘He was at least drunk enough to call the police on himself while hallucinating,’ the police department wrote on Facebook.

However, when officers met up with the unnamed man, who was in fact walking home from the Amtrak train station in Elyria, Ohio, not a bar, they discovered that the man was actually stone cold sober.

But, more importantly, he truly was being followed by a large dark-haired pig.

The Facebook post wrapped up with a statement aimed at preempting any obvious ‘pig/cop’ jokes.

‘Also, we will mention the irony of the pig in a police car now so that anyone that thinks they’re funny is actually unoriginal and trying too hard,’ the post stated.

Just three hours after the man’s panicked pig pursuit call came in, police were able to return the pig to its owner, according to an update to the Facebook post.

The pig, according to CBS News, is named Zoey.

Since the North Ridgeville Police posted about the incident, the post has gone viral, receiving 9,500 likes and being shared 13,000 times.”
