Children Put Their Mother On Blast In Her Obituary, Say The World Would Be A Better Place Without Her.

A Minnesota woman who died at the age of 80 last week will not be missed by her family, who let the public know about it in a biting obituary.

Kathleen Dehmlow passed away on Thursday in Springfield, Minnesota.

According to her obituary in the Redwood Falls Gazette, she was not a very good person.

It states that after she married Dennis Dehmlow in 1957, the couple had two children, Gina and Jay.

Five years afterward, ‘she became pregnant by her husband’s brother Lyle Dehmlow and moved to California.’

‘She abandoned her children, Gina and Jay, who were then raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schunk.

‘She passed away on May 31, 2018 in Springfield and will now face judgment.

‘She will not be missed by Gina and Jay, and they understand that this world is a better place without her.’

The obituary was posted on Twitter where it was shared tens of thousands of times, with the vast majority of users either shocked or poking fun at the harsh words

A photograph of the original obituary in the newspaper’s print edition made the rounds on Twitter, where it went viral.

The obituary was shared by a Twitter user going by the name ‘Stu’ and was subsequently shared almost 20,000 times.

A majority of users poked fun at Kathleen’s romancing, and several more applauded Jay and Gina for not holding back with their ‘tribute’.

However, a few were dismayed at the obituary and admonished the Redwood Falls Gazette for publishing it.‏

  1. There must be more to this story because the hate is so over the top. However, the moral of this post is that we should mind our behaviour towards our children so that bitterness is not ingrained in them.
