BaltimorePolice are looking for 23-year-old Demetrius Thompson after a shooting that occurred on Light Street Fridaymorning.
The victim, a 22-year-old woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound to her face.
She was taken to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
According to detectives, the victim was walking on Light Street when she was approached by Thompson who then pulled a gun and shot her in the face.
Police say the shooting was a targeted incident and possibly domestic related.
Thompson is wanted for attempted murder.
The 22-year-old woman was found lying on a gentrified Baltimore street with a gunshot wound to the face. She was taken to a hospital, where she is currently listed in stable condition.
“Our detectives have been working onthis, obviously, since 6 o’clock this morning. They made some very good headway that’s giving us indications that this is a domestic, targeted incident, not a random shooting that occurred in downtown Baltimore,” said Capt. Jarron Jackson, of the Baltimore PoliceDepartment.

The woman was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police said. The shooting took place just outside the 10 Light Street apartment building and the Under Armour Performance Center at the corner of Redwood Street.
Police spokesman T.J. Smith said on Twitter the shooting was a targeted, domestic-related incident.
Part of the block, including the main entrance to the apartment complex, was cordoned off with police tape Friday morning, and there were blood stains on the street and sidewalk outside.
