Joe Jackson has been dead for less than a day — but his famous family is already feuding, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The music manager’s granddaughter Paris and daughter Janet are arguing over which of them will foot the bill for the upcoming service, a family insider told Radar, adding there’s “bad blood” between the two women.
“Janet has said she’ll pay for it because she believes Paris paying for it would be an embarrassment to the family,” the insider claimed.
Headstrong Paris, 20, and Janet, 52, also feel very, very differently about the family patriarch.
“Paris believes her grandpa is a legend and should be treated as such,” the insider explained.
Meanwhile, “Janet still had a terrible relationship with him, though it wasn’t shown in public,” separate source said. (The singer paid tribute to her father at a concert last weekend)
The insider claimed Joe was aware of all the feuding even before his death, and even told a friend, “too many folks fight against this family, we don’t need to fight with each other.”
The source told Radar Joe died around 3 AM this morning in Las Vegas. He was 89.
“He wasn’t ready to go. He wanted to be around till his 90th,” the source said.
